Puercos beans

Delight with this tasty Sinaloa-style bean preparation

Puercos beans is a modification made to the traditional bean dish; adding chorizo,

sauce, cheese, onion and other traditional Mexican cuisine ingredients to give it a Sinaloa style as it is eaten in the north of the country.

Ingredients


  • 1/2 kilo cooked beans

  • 250 grams Chihuahua cheese or similar

  • 150 grams Chorizo

  • 2.5 deciliters ranchera sauce

  • 2.5 deciliters oil or lard

  • 1/4 chopped onion

  • 1/4 chopped tomato


Preparation


Add 300 ml of hot water to 100 g of dehydrated Cheff Bean Pinto.


In a frying pan place the oil, fry the chorizo and add the chopped onion and tomato. Once they are ready add the Cheff Bean Pinto.


Stir it very well over low heat and add the grated cheese. Wait for the cheese to melt and finally add the ranchera sauce.
