Green enchiladas

Mexican traditional cuisine is rich in flavors and colors. Green enchiladas recipe we show you are easy to cook, quick, and very cheap. You will learn how to make green chicken enchiladas (the same process can be done for red enchiladas with Cheff Red Salsa Base).

  • 80 grams Cheff Green Salsa Base + 500 ml water = 580 grams hydrated green Salsa

  • 1/2 kilo chicken breast

  • 1/2 piece of onion (to boil the chicken and to decorate at the end)

  • Freshly chopped coriander

  • 1 piece dried romaine lettuce

  • 1 piece white cheese

  • 12 corn tortillas pieces

  • Vegetable oil

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1/4 cup of sour cream


Add 500 ml hot water to 80 grams Cheff Salsa base Green Salsa.

Cook the chicken breast with onion and salt in boiling water. As soon it's cooked, let cool and shred the chicken.

Heat a little oil in a pan and pass the tortillas (already heated) on both sides. Fill them with chicken (1 or 2 tablespoons will be fine) and roll-up.

Plate the enchiladas and bathe them with the hot salsa.

Finally, add the lettuce, onion, coriander, and top with shredded cheese and cream.
